ABOUT Grace kristine

I’ve innately documented connection and experience my whole life. A camera has always been the easiest way for me to translate how I see the world and share my perspective. I’ve naturally gravitated toward film—personal travel projects, school video programs, and other creative endeavors—and pursuing videography felt like a natural next step.

I first discovered wedding videography when a friend’s sister asked me to capture her wedding. With no prior experience, I was completely confused—but wildly curious. That curiosity led me to shadow local videographers, and I quickly fell in love with the craft. There’s something energizing about connecting with people on one of the most important days of their lives and capturing the intricate relationships, dynamics, and moments that make each story unique. Love, human connection, and storytelling have always fascinated me, and discovering that I could turn that passion into a career felt like everything aligning.

My approach is people-focused and connection-driven. I strive to tell stories authentically and thoughtfully, whether it’s a couple’s love story, a brand collaboration, a short film, or a creative project. I’m often praised for my personability—bringing presence, making people feel seen, and creating an experience that’s collaborative and enjoyable. With weddings in particular, I find I create friendships with my couples. I want to know their story inside and out and honor the trust they place in me.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, I spent the last four years in Charlotte, NC, and recently relocated to Chattanooga, TN, where I plan to call home for the time being. I’m excited to build a client base locally while also traveling for creative projects. Ultimately, my work is motivated by people, connection, and the opportunity to tell stories that matter—through film. I am endlessly inspired by culture, travel, and new experiences.

Travel and curiosity have taken me across the world—from hiking the cliffs of Portugal with only a Cutie and a handful of pretzels, to riding camels in Morocco, to reuniting my great-grandmother’s family in Naples, Italy. Experiencing something for the first time—a new place, a new person, a new taste—is my favorite feeling, and it’s the same sense of wonder I bring to every project. When I’m filming, I’m always asking: What’s happening right now? What’s beautiful about this moment? What’s the best way to capture it? That presence is what shapes my storytelling—calm, observant, and intentional.

Outside of filmmaking, my soul dog is a pug, my favorite snack is popcorn, and I average about four or five coffee shops a week.
